The roots of Davis County are a very
important part of who we have become as a health care
facility, a community and as individuals. We would like
to display that tradition on the walls of the new
patient care area at Davis County Hospital.
Enter your photos of Davis County in the
contest and your photos could help tell the story.
Who is Eligible:
The Davis County Hospital Photo
Contest is open to all photographers who are at least 10
years of age.
Divisions:
Pro -
Full
or part-time professional photographers who receive all
or a major part of their income from
photography.
Amateur -
Beginning or amateur photographers
at least 18 years of age, and experienced photographers
who do not receive a major part of their income from nature
photography.
Youth
- Young photographers ages 10 to
17.
What Types of photos to enter:
We are looking for photographs
that help tell the story of Davis County.
These photos maybe of historical
landmarks and buildings, animals that are a natural part of Davis
County’s landscape, people, past and present who have helped make Davis
County what it is.
How to submit your photos:
To be eligible for the contest you
must submit your photo as a 5x7, 8x10 or 11x14 print, as
well as a negative or digital image. Digital images
may be saved to a jump drive, copied to a CD or e-mailed
to
marketing@daviscountyhospital.org. Once the photos have been submitted they become the property of Davis County
Hospital and may be used in our photography
display.
Prizes:
Davis County Hospital will be
awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes in each of the 3
categories.
1st place award winners will
receive - $50.00 cash prize
2nd place award winners will
receive - $35.00 cash prize
3rd place award winners will
receive - $10.00 cash prize
Deadline to submit photos:
Photos may be submitted beginning
January 1, 2010.
Submission deadline is February 15th.
Judging will be by hospital staff
and winners will be announced February 26.
