Long Term Care

The Long Term Care Department of the Davis County Hospital is committed to providing a home-like atmosphere while providing spiritual, social, emotional, and physical needs to each resident.

Services: A full range of health services are provided including physical therapy, x-ray, respiratory care, in house laboratory, speech therapy, pharmacy, Dietician, and 24 hour nursing care.

Activities:

A wide variety of fun, mind stimulating activities are offered and include:

Social and family gatherings
Holiday celebrations
Internet access
Computer games
Wii games
Quilting activities/shows
Birthday parties/Birthday meals
Movies
Crafts
Church services and Bible study
Gardening
Televisions in all rooms
Big screen TV
Community outings including fishing/picnics/county fair
Gardening in the LTC garden

Family members are encouraged to participate in any and all activities. Community volunteers provide a wide variety of programs regularly to the residents.

An aviary filled with an assortment of beautiful birds is located in the LTC lobby and local volunteers bring pets on a regular basis to interact with residents.
