Respiratory care practitioners are available to provide a
complete line of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Diagnostics
Therapists perform the following diagnostic tests:
- ABGs, EEGs, and ECGs
- Pulmnary Function Testing
- Holter monitoring and other studies of the
cardiopulmonary (heart and lung) system.
Treatment
Therapists provide the following therapeutic services:
- Employ mechanical ventilation for patients who cannot
breathe adequately on their own.
- Administer all forms of aerosolized therapy and patient
responses to that therapy.
- Monitor equipment and patient responses to therapy.
- Pulmonary Rehabilitation
